Play with purpose. Learning with impact.

Preschool
(3's/4's and 4's/5's)

Our preschool students explore and make sense of their world, examine language, articulate their thinking and begin to experiment with creative problem solving.

Through structured play, children naturally begin to comprehend and apply concepts of math, science and engineering.

In these early years, we're preparing students for lives of serious success. But to them, it just looks like fun!

Elementary
(Kindergarten - Grade 5)

As our students grow, learning through play becomes learning playfully. Kindergarten and the elementary years are all about continuing to build confidence, resilience and independence.

Children begin taking on bigger responsibilities, have a voice in how they will meet their learning goals, and discover the courage to take mental leaps and the tenacity to transcend mistakes.

Middle School
(Grades 6 - 8)

The middle school program (grades 6 -8) embeds a challenging academic program within a nurturing environment so that our students develop a strong sense of self and confidence.

With a curriculum structure that supports social-emotional development through project-based learning, small group advisories, and expert teachers who care for our students minds AND hearts, students thrive socially and academically during this critical time of growth.

Why TCS?

Parents choose TCS for many reasons: the nurture and challenge their children experience; our values of childhood and play; our diverse community; the strong sense of self and confidence and the love of learning their children develop during their time here.

Here’s what one parent said about why they chose TCS :

I wanted (our daughter) to go someplace where she could be challenged and really have a love of learning. My primary concern was that she would be in a safe learning environment where she could thrive and have the freedom and confidence to mature, grow, and adopt this love of learning. She has definitely done that at TCS.”

Unlock your child's full potential.

Amplify Childhood.
The TCS preschool - grade 8 structure recognizes that the transition from elementary to middle school can be difficult for young adolescents and offers students the gift of time to be known and to feel safe in that knowing, without interrupting a critical developmental period with a school change. Combining the preschool, kindergarten, elementary and middle school years gives students time to mature, tapping their growing abilities while preserving their childlike sense of joy, wonder and curiosity.

Play is serious learning.
It's not unusual for rigorous academics at TCS to look like play. Through structured play, TCS students naturally comprehend and apply literacy, math, science and engineering concepts.

Think outside the book.
TCS uses project-based learning to inspire curiosity and engage students in their learning. As a results, TCS students are problem finders and innovative solution builders.
